Responsible for all aspects of Supplier Management, Inventory Planning & Control and Procurement Strategy.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement purchasing strategy.
- Forecasting and demand planning.
- Supplier Management and performance reviews.
- Manage stock levels.
- Review company wide spend and implement strategies to maximise cost savings.
- Identify and onboard new suppliers.
- Review and implement continuous improvement within the purchasing and supply chain team.
Skills required
- CIPS level 5 qualification or a bachelor degree equivalent in a related area such as supply chain management or purchasing
- SAP or similar stock control system
- 5 years Purchasing experience within a manufacturing environment
- Experience of Production scheduling
